Career
Preparation Network
What
is it?
-
It's
a partnership between parents, students, and educators working
with employers, labor organizations, and community groups.
-
It's
a community-based system that prepares all students for successful
careers and lifelong learning. Local employers, educators, parents,
and students join together in an effort to enable all learners
to expand their options, discover educational opportunities,
and prepare themselves for a changing world.
-
It's
an opportunity for all students to achieve the skills and competencies
demanded for successful employment, responsible citizenship,
and continuous learning.
-
It's
participation in an integrated, comprehensive, career-based
education.
-
It's
development of the skilled workforce demanded by the workplace
of the twenty-first century.
