Additionally, it is bisected by many state routes such Lincoln Highway (Route 30), Cicero Avenue (IL Route 50), and Harlem Avenue (IL Route 43) Matteson is within ten miles of Interstates 294, 80, 94, and 394. The Metra Electric Line serves the municipality with daily service to Downtown Chicago via two stations (211th Street and Downtown Matteson).</p>
